An under-construction, seven-story building collapsed in southern India's Karnataka, leaving one worker dead and five missing. Fourteen people were rescued as authorities launched an emergency operation amidst ongoing heavy rains.

CCTV from a neighbouring office shows how the structure gave way during the downpour in Horamavu Agara near Hennur in Banglore in the south of the country.

A building under construction in Bengaluru's Babusapalya collapsed on 22nd October due to heavy rainfall, trapping at least 17 workers beneath the debris. According to some news reports, one person has also been declared dead.
