Aleksei Kolosov made his NHL debut on Sunday for the Philadelphia Flyers becoming the first Belarusian goalie to start an NHL game. Kolosov, 22, was recalled by the Flyers on Saturday night and immediately inserted into the lineup as the starter against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled defenseman Emil Andrae and goaltender Aleksei Kolosov, the team announced Saturday. In a corresponding move, defenseman Cam York was placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of two weeks with an upper-body injury.
