Peloton's (NASDAQ: PTON) stock has been on fire recently, in part because the company is focused on a strategy that works. It needs to sell high-end bikes to consumers and make money on their subscriptions.

Peloton has been working to grow sales and stem its losses and has had to work harder to accomplish both of those goals as customer acquisition costs rise.

Peloton plans to sell its deluxe stationary bike at Costco this holiday season as the struggling connected-exercise company seeks to broaden its customer base.

Troubled fitness company Peloton is set to begin selling its Bike+ at Costco warehouses for the holiday season. The fitness brand is offering a steep price cut on the Bike+ which typically sells for $2,495 on Peloton 's website. The Bike+ is expected to be priced at $1,999 in 300 Costco stores or $2,199 Costco's website.

Peloton plans to sell its high-end exercise bikes at some of Costco's U.S. stores and on the retailer's website between Nov. 1 and Feb. 15, the companies said on Tuesday.

Costco members will be able to purchase an exclusive Bike+ bundle from Nov. 1 through Feb. 15, as Peloton continues to expand its third-party relationships.

Costco members can now purchase a Peloton Bike Plus at 300 Costco locations and online this holiday season. Peloton announced Tuesday that starting Nov. 1, Costco members can purchase an exclusive Peloton Bike Plus bundle through Feb.
