The Cambrian train line is expected to open for normal services from Monday following the a fatal crash earlier this week. Passenger Tudor Evans, 66, died in the incident which saw two trains crash near Llanbrynmair, Powys, on Monday night. It also resulted in 15 people being taken to hospital following the collision.

A passenger has died and 15 others have been taken to hospital after two trains collided in Mid Wales on Monday evening. Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed a man died and said 15 others were taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A man has died following a low-speed collision involving two trains in Wales, British Transport Police (BTP) has confirmed.

It involved the Transport for Wales 6.31pm service from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth and the Transport for Wales 7.09pm service from Machynlleth to Shrewsbury. The 15 injured people
