After "Baywatch" lifeguard Michael Newman died at 68, David Hasselhoff has spoken out with a tribute to his late co-star in an exclusive statement to the Post.

David Hasselhoff is remembering his late Baywatch costar, Michael Newman. "Newman was a warrior … he literally saved my life at least 4 times," the Mitch Buchanan actor wrote alongside a photo of him and Newman on the Baywatch set via Instagram late Tuesday,

Michael Newman was the third most regular actor on the famous US drama series and was described as "a warrior" by David Hasselhoff.
