Israeli police say civilians shot and killed the truck driver after the vehicle “rammed” into a bus near Glilot military base; the circumstances of the incident are under investigation.

The circumstances of the crash remain unknown; however, Asi Aharoni, an Israeli police spokesperson, told reporters that authorities are treating it as a terror attack.

Israel Police chief Daniel Levy said a bus ramming incident near Tel Aviv on Sunday which injured 35 people was a deliberate "attack" carried out by an Israeli citizen.
